It certainly pays to be educated, but you don't necessarily have to have a college degree to be paid well.

Data released last summer by the Bureau Of Labor Statistics shows that a high school degree can earn you a decent salary in several respectable fields. The catch? Most of these higher-earning jobs demand work experience or extensive on-the-job training.
