"I Like You Better On Facebook": Livia Scott Sings About The Perils Of Online Crushes

(WATCH) "I Like You Better On Facebook"

You've pored over a certain someone's photos, Facebook updates and tweets (and possibly their OKCupid profile). He or she seems so witty! So attractive! So cultured! Surely when you finally meet, it will be a match made in social media heaven. Right?

Unfortunately, as anyone who has braved the uncomfortable waters of online dating knows, the real thing sometimes doesn't hold a candle to the (carefully curated) online persona. Turns out that he's more "brony" than "bro" -- that "My Little Pony" t-shirt that you thought was an ironic homage to his '90s childhood was actually a byproduct of sincere adoration -- and his voice is grating ... and he's not nearly as well-read as his link sharing would indicate.

Comedian Livia Scott explores this very specific, internet-age kind of disappointment in her video, posted on Jezebel, "I Like You Better On Facebook." Let the hilarity (and spandex and voguing) ensue.
