"American Horror Story" is headed back to FX this fall under the name "American Horror Story: Asylum," boasting a whole new set of characters.

Jessica Lange, who played Constance Langdon in Season 1, will return as a mysterious nun in the second installment of the series. So just how different will she be from Constance?

"She’s very different. She’s also a survivor," Lange told THR. "I’m not even sure where we’re going with her, but there are certain elements of their history that are definitely shared."

"I had no idea what the character would be or how it was going to work," Lange said in an interview with the LA Times. "But what swayed me was Ryan's insistence that he was going to write a part that would be fascinating for me to play. There aren't a lot of writers who promise you that. And I haven't been disappointed at all."
