Justin Bieber's Chicago Arrival Sends Beliebers Into A Screaming Frenzy Outside Hotel (VIDEO)

The Biebs' Arrival In Chicago Is Ruining Everything

Never fear, Chicago, The Biebs is here.

Though 19-year-old Justin Bieber won't be taking the stage in the city until 7 p.m. at the United Center, the party already began for Beliebers on Monday afternoon when a large crowd of fans gathered outside the Peninsula Chicago hotel, where he was rumored to be staying, with the hope of catching a glimpse of the pint-sized pop superstar.

As DNAinfo Chicago reports, a throng of mostly female, largely adolescent fans gathered outside the hotel beginning around 2 p.m. and into the evening, screaming every time the hotel's revolving door turned.

Cook County Commissioner John Fritchey tweeted a photo of the scene:

In addition to requiring the presence of at least a dozen police officers, the noisy scene has also disrupted the NHL Players' Association's annual meeting, which just happens to be taking place at the Peninsula this week, according to NESN.

Minnesota Wild forward Zenon Konopka's tweeted about 12:30 a.m. Thursday that the Beliebers' screaming was "killing" the NHLPA meetings.

Meanwhile, Bieber wasn't the only famous heartthrob in town Monday. Also in Chicago -- and actually caught on camera -- were the Jonas Brothers, who played volleyball at North Avenue Beach ahead of their Wednesday evening show at Northerly Island, according to ABC Chicago. The event was promoted by 103.5 KISS FM.
