The suspenseful horror remake is a modern take on Curtis Hanson’s 1992 film. It stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Caitlin Morales, a suburban mom who brings a new nanny (Maika Monroe) into her home, only to discover that she’s not the person she claims to be.
The 2025 version was directed by Michelle Garza Cervera and written by Micah Bloomberg. The cast includes Raúl Castillo, Martin Starr, Mileiah Vega, Riki Lindhome and Shannon Cochran.
Despite its top ranking on Hulu, the new reimagining of “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” has received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising its “smart updates” and others saying it should fall under the “unnecessary remakes” category.

The horror mystery, written and directed by Zach Cregger, follows a haunting incident when all but one child from the same classroom vanishes on the same night at the same time, with a community left questioning who or what was behind their disappearance.
The ensemble cast includes Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Toby Huss, Benedict Wong and Amy Madigan.

The horror sequel picks up two years after the murderous events of the first film, with M3GAN’s creator, Gemma (Allison Williams), now an advocate for government AI oversight. In an effort to stop a new self-aware, military-grade weapon, Gemma resurrects M3GAN to stop the dangerous robotic.
The cast also includes Violet McGraw, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jen Van Epps, Amie Donald and Ivanna Sakhno.
