White House sources report that President Donald J. Trump plans to appoint veteran spies Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale as the new co-directors of the FBI, replacing the recently ousted James Comey. In a brief passing encounter with reporters, Trump said "Boris and Natasha are great, great people. The very best. They are real patriots, and they’ve got tons of experience ... And, by the way, Natasha is a very beautiful woman. I love the accent! If she weren't a cartoon, I'd probably date her."

During an interview on "Fox and Friends" this morning, Boris and Natasha indicated that, if they are appointed, they will widen the scope of the FBI's investigation, turning their attention to the possible roles of Rocky and Bullwinkle in hacking DNC computers during the 2016 presidential campaign.

"Everyone talk about Russia and Putin,” Mr. Badenov noted. “Why no one talk about moose and squirrel?"

Fox and Friends host Steve Doocy nodded in agreement. "That's a really good point. A great point."

Boris and Natasha plan to turn the operation of their greeting card business over to Eric Trump and Donald Trump jr.
