Oprah Winfrey Style Evolution: The Media Titan Gets Better Each Year (PHOTOS)

Happy Birthday, Oprah!

Oprah Winfrey is a legend. The Mississipi native is best known for her long-running talk show, "The Oprah Winfrey Show," where she interviewed everyone from Michael Jackson to Barack Obama. Most recently, she's making waves with the Oprah Winfrey Network, where she continues to make headlines with revealing interviews with the likes of Lance Armstrong and Cissy Houston.

Oprah started on the small screen with big hair and bright eye shadow (this was the '80s, after all). In the years since, the media titan and philanthropist has struggled publicly with her weight, but she always manages to look fabulous. We love her penchant for crisp oxford blouses, ball gown skirts and wrap dresses that show off her bust, while cinching in her waist.

As Winfrey celebrates her 59th birthday on Tuesday (Jan. 29), we're taking a look back at the queen of media's style over the years.
