Urban Turban Cooking: How to Make Tofu With Veggies

Today, we are going to learn how to make tofu with veggies. This is such an easy and healthy meal to make.

Ingredients:

1 bunch Broccoli cut into Florets (6 cups)
1 bunch Cauliflower cut into Florets (6 cups)
4 Carrots Chopped
16 ounce Super Firm Tofu
1/2 Pound Sliced Mushrooms
2 Red Chili Peppers
1 tsp Garlic
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Directions:

1. Cut broccoli into florets and put in microwave for 5 minutes.
2. Cut cauliflower into florets and put in microwave for 5 minutes.
3. Water and cut carrots into small pieces.
4. Water and cut mushrooms into small pieces.
5. Heat medium size pot on stove at medium heat.
6. After 2-3 minutes add 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil.
7. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds.
8. Add 2 red chili peppers.
9. Add 1 tsp garlic.
10. Mix together and let it cook for 1-2 minutes.
11. Add all the veggies.
12. Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric.
13. Add 1/2 teaspoon gara masala.
14. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
15. Cut tofu into small pieces and add into pot.
16. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
