Viola Davis And Octvaia Spencer At Critics' Choice Awards: 'The Help' Stars Win Big And Look Great (PHOTOS)

Davis And Spencer Shine At Critic's Choice Awards (PHOTOS)

We were bummed that "The Help" stars Viola Davis and Octavia Davis were absent from Tuesday night's People's Choice Awards, but the ladies were definitely on hand last night to accept top honors at The Critic's Choice Awards.

Davis looked radiant in a red Raoul gown as she accepted the award for Best Actress. Her tassel earrings and sleek hairstyle were spot on--completing her leading lady look. Davis is quickly becoming one of our favorite fashionistas.

Spencer's style star has been rising as well. Dressed in a black jersey Tadashi Shohi dress, the star snagged her award for Best Supporting Actress.

"I always try to be comfortable in my body and dress for me. So if people don’t like it they can write about it, cry about it, but I’m gonna work it," Spencer told Essence.com.

And work it she did. The jeweled detail on the waist of the dress was also a nice touch.

With the Golden Globes two days away, we can't wait to see what these two front runners will be wearing. If last night's ensembles are any indication, we're in for a treat.

Here's a look at Hollywood's top actresses at last night's event. Do you love their looks?
