Good news for comic book fans: graphic novels are not only making a major mainstream comeback, they're also taking on exciting new forms. With the successful relaunch of all 52 comics in DC's Superhero Universe last September and the highly anticipated new Avengers film on the way, comics are now a bigger part of mainstream pop culture than ever before.

From comic book adaptations of popular films like Twilight to the exploding popularity of Manga to more serious literature like Maus, comics are constantly evolving. High school student Shannon W. from Austin, Texas conducts a series of interviews to find out how the comic industry has changed over the years -- and how fans are adapting to these changes.
