Elyse Luray

Elyse Luray is an appraiser, auctioneer and historian in popular culture. Currently, she is one of five hosts on the 10 year show PBS’, History Detectives and the host of SYFY’s Collection Intervention and an appraiser on the Nate Berkus Show.

Before working as a history detective, Elyse spent 11 years at Christie’s auction house as an auctioneer and a vice president of the Popular Arts Department. In June 2011, Elyse published her first book, Great Wines Below $20.

She is a certified appraiser and is a New York State licensed auctioneer and currently on the Dean’s Board of Tulane University.
