Jamal leads NIAC Action’s efforts to ensure Iranian Americans have a powerful voice to influence the policies and politics that matter most to our community.
Jamal previously served as a Policy Advisor in the US Congress, working on foreign affairs, immigration, and defense issues. Prior to coming to DC, he worked in his home state of Washington as a field organizer for U.S. Congressional elections. He received his B.A. from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Jamal has written for The New York Times, USA Today, CNN and Foreign Policy, and blogs at The Huffington Post and at www.niacinsight.com. He is a frequent guest contributor in print, radio, and television.
