Jorge Riopedre

President, Casa de Salud

Jorge is the President of Casa de Salud, a clinic providing high-quality, low-cost clinical and mental healthcare to the uninsured, focusing on the new immigrant community. He is the former executive director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan St. Louis, for which he also served as Chairman and President from 2008-2010. After earning a degree in Broadcast Communications from Loyola University in New Orleans, Jorge launched a media production company in 1994 specializing in the Hispanic market. In 2015, Jorge was named a USA Eisenhower Fellow and received the Norman A. Stack Community Service Award from the Jewish Community Relations Council. He is a member of the St. Louis City Board of Health and he serves on numerous advisory boards, including for the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Arts & Sciences, the Brown School of Social Work, and the Nine Network. He was appointed by former Missouri Governor Matt Blunt to the Hispanic Business, Culture & Trade Commission, and by current Governor Jay Nixon to the Missouri Complete Count Commission.
