Rachel Schragis is a visual artist and cultural organizer born and raised in NYC. Rachel has also been honored to work alongside artists and activists in the Domestic Worker Justice movement, the Fight for $15 campaign, Occupy Wall Street, and more. She is serious about the role artists play in confronting the climate crisis, about visibilizing and dismantling white supremacy, and about living forward the dreams of her radical leftist jewish ancestors. She was featured in the recently released book "When We Fight We Win: 21st Century Social Movements and the Activists Who are Changing Our World, and is a founding steward of People's Collective Arts.
