Tadashi Moriyama is a multi media artist who primarily makes drawings, paintings, videos and sculptures. He has been influenced by science and science fiction, medieval alchemist drawings, Buddhist philosophy and beyond. Moriyama draws extensively to illuminate analogies across different subject boundaries. He elaborates on favorite topics such as - cities and memories, dreams and myths, home and globalization.
Moriyama lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Tadashi Moriyama is having a solo show at Real Art Ways, CT from April 11 through July 4, 2013. Opening reception is on Thursday, April 18, 6-8pm.
