Wayne Hale is a retired NASA executive serving in numerous leadership positions during his 32 years of government service. He is as a former Space Shuttle Flight Director, served as Program Manager for the Space Shuttle Program, and was instrumental in the development of the Commercial Crew Program management philosophy for NASA. He is an avid blogger on the future of space exploration and currently serves as a consultant for Special Aerospace Services. Hale is also a member of the Coalition for Space Exploration Board of Advisors.
