I had the pleasure of visiting Big Cypress Preserve recently. I love a good nature walk to get away and rejuvenate and Big Cypress Preserve did not disappoint. Located on the Taimiami Trail way out into the Everglades, the scenery from the drive alone will calm your spirit. Massive Trees and wild birds line the route. Cautionary signs warn of Cougars and Bears crossing, I have had the honor of seeing both beautiful creatures. Snapping turtles say hello and of course the King of the swamp; The Massive Alligators make their royal presence known. If you love nature please check out this beautiful preserve.
