It looks like Mayor Bloomberg was left out of the loop regarding President Obama's upcoming trip to New York.

The mayor and his staff received no advance word about Obama coming to town to discuss financial reform, and in fact learned about it from the ol' interwebsphere.

"Well, I just saw on the blogs that he was coming, so I haven't talked to anybody in the White House," Bloomberg told reporters at an event in the Bronx.

Bloomberg then went on to question the recent moves against Goldman Sachs, expressing concern that if the financial industry leaves New York due to regulatory meddling, "that's going to hurt an awful lot of very hard working in this city."
