Darren Criss Officially Takes Over 'How To Succeed' Broadway Run From Daniel Radcliffe

After a week of rumored reports, it's official -- 'Glee' star Darren Criss will make his Broadway debut in early 2012.

Criss will replace Daniel Radcliffe as the lead in "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" for a limited three week engagement from January 3 through January 22, 2012, with Radcliffe's final performance being January 1. This is not the first time Criss has filled a role also held by Radcliffe -- in 2009 Criss performed as Harry Potter in a student musical at the University of Michigan that rocketed him to viral Internet fame.

"Daniel gives an extraordinary performance eight times a week and we knew finding someone to fill his shoes would be nearly impossible. When we learned of Darren's dream of performing on Broadway we knew we had found our Finch but presumed his "GLEE" schedule would eliminate any chance to work with him," said director/choreographer Rob Ashford, according to Broadway World. "We are ecstatic and grateful to Ryan Murphy and his "GLEE" team at 20th Century Fox TV for helping to make both Darren's and our dream come true."

Tickets for the run are already on sale.
