It might be time to retire the graduation backflip.

On Sunday, Davenport University student Robert Jeffrey Blank grabbed his diploma, posed in an athletic stance and then took a face plant on a backflip attempt in front of a rather quiet auditorium.

Blank's loud slam into the ground turned just about every person's head, and even seemed to trip up the woman announcing names. But a moment later, the university administrators resumed their hand shaking.

Thanks to Mark Fay, this epic backflip fail will be on the Internets for all of time.
