Lovatics eagerly awaiting the release of Demi Lovato's fourth studio album will be excited to hear that it may include a collaboration with fellow "X Factor" judge Britney Spears.

In a recent interview with Popsugar, Demi gushed that she "would LOVE" to record a song with the legendary pop star. She also gave her fans some hints about what they might hear on the upcoming album.

"Fans can expect a less dance-y pop album," Demi told Popsugar. "No dubstep for me, I'm good. I miss hearing real instruments on the radio -- I want to be able to bring that back to pop radio."

Although there are currently no plans for the "X Factor" judges to hit the studio together, Demi said she would be "so excited" about a collaboration. Demi also mentioned that she and Britney were friends on the show, and that they regularly chat backstage about their clothes and makeup.

It's not the first time that Demi has spoken out about her admiration for Britney. Before the show premiered in September, Demi said that Britney was her childhood idol, and that she was thrilled to be working with her.

"The fact that I'm getting to sit next to her for any reason in life is pretty incredible," Demi told the Associated Press, "Let alone being on the same panel as her."

Last week on "X Factor," Demi also collaborated with her former "Camp Rock" co-star, Nick Jonas. When the two reunited, "Demi and Nick" trended on Twitter as thousands of young fans expressed their excitement at seeing the two Disney stars together again.
