Donald Trump used his speech at King Charles’ state banquet on Wednesday to highlight Kate Middleton’s appearance ― marking his second set of comments about the Princess of Wales in a matter of hours.
“Melania and I are delighted to visit with Prince William and to see Her Royal Highness, Princess Catherine,” said Trump, who was seated next to Kate.
“So radiant, so healthy and so beautiful,” he said of the royal, as she looked up at him to nod her head and smile back.

Trump also spoke highly of Prince William during his speech, telling Charles that he has a “remarkable son in His Royal Highness, Prince of Wales.”
“We’ve gotten to know you, and think you’re going to have an unbelievable success and future,” he said.
The U.S. president and first lady are in town for an unprecedented second state visit to the U.K.
The Trumps were greeted by William and Kate earlier in the day on Wednesday during their stop at Windsor Castle.

Trump immediately told Kate, “You’re beautiful, so beautiful.”
The president’s comments come after a challenging few years for Charles and Kate, who were both diagnosed with cancer in 2024. Neither has disclosed the type of cancer they have.
The Princess of Wales announced earlier this year that her cancer is in remission.
