Fan's Big Belly Behind Botched Field Goal Causes Gut Reaction

This is one way to measure your self-girth.

Many football fans might not have the stomach for this.

Zach Hocker of the host New Orleans Saints attempted what could have been a game-winning 30-yard field goal near the end of regulation Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. What is considered a chip shot in the NFL banged against the upright to extend the game into overtime.

Aside from a bad kick by Hocker, were there other forces at work, like this towel-waving dude baring his ample belly?

SB Nation didn't mince words in sarcastically blaming the fan: "This shirtless man caused the Saints to miss a game-winning field goal." The Sporting News pointed fingers at Belly Man, as well: "Saints Miss Potential Game-Winning Field Goal Because Of One Fan's Incredible Gut."

The Saints eventually won in overtime, 26-20, so no harm done.

But wherever a critical field goal attempt might take place in the future, we'll be watching for you, Belly Man.
