Just over a month ago HuffPost citizen reporter Dawn Teo wrote about Arizona State University's refusal to give President Obama the customary honorary degree when he gives the school's commencement address tomorrow (the story was uncovered by student journalist and HuffPost blogger Adam Sneed). As the first to write about the debacle for a national news organization, Dawn Teo was soon contacted by The Daily Show, which planned a special report about the controversy.

Weeks later, Daily Show correspondent Jason Jones and his team of producers traveled to Tempe, Arizona where Dawn Teo helped them solve the mystery behind what cable news junkies have deemed, "the biggest scandal in the history of Arizona State University."

Dawn Teo has been sworn to secrecy so we can't give any details, but you can catch The Daily Show investigative report on the ASU honorary degree debacle tonight on Comedy Central, 11:00PM EST/ 10:00 PM CST.

And keep your eyes peeled for Teo's coverage of Obama's commencement address tomorrow. We'll see if ASU President Michael Crow gives Obama diplomas from embarrassed alumni as an apology.
