Neil deGrasse Tyson Freaks Out Over 'Prickly' 'Star Wars' Fans

The facts are strong with this one.

There's been an awakening, "Star Wars" fans. And it's not good.

While on "Conan" on Monday, Neil deGrasse Tyson was asked to defend some tweets he made about "Star Wars" that had gotten fans all riled up. He then proceeded to dismantle everything you've ever believed in.

The scientist pretty much blew a fuse over why "prickly" "Star Wars" fans get so upset over things. Tyson then explained exactly why the Starship Enterprise from "Star Trek" would "wipe its ass" with the Millennium Falcon and that there's no way BB-8 from "The Force Awakens" wouldn't be skidding uncontrollably on sand.

"This is just physics," explained Tyson.

Unfortunately for "Star Wars," the facts are strong with this one.
