New York magazine readers were in for a treat, or shock, with the title's latest cover.
In light of former Gov. Eliot Spitzer entering New York City's comptroller race during a year when Anthony Weiner launched a mayoral bid, New York magazine placed both disgraced politicians on its cover—their faces combined to look like one individual.
Weiner's left side made up half the face, while Spitzer's right side took up the other. Their faces were lined up just evenly enough to look equal parts horrifying and amazing. The magazine accompanied the freaky photo with quite the appropriate headlines, capturing many New Yorkers' reactions: 'Weiner?! Spitzer?!'
