Occupy Wall Street protestors got their first taste of winter on Saturday as the city experienced record snow and chilling temperatures atypical of a normal October weekend.
The video below provides a personal glimpse of demonstrators braving the cold weather and passing out ponchos, coats, and other supplies. One protestor explained the importance of such solidarity and that "belief in the movement, as cheesy as it sounds, is the most important part."
Saturday's freak snowstorm is just a preview of the coming obstacles protestors will inevitably have to overcome as temperatures continue to drop for the coming winter season.
