Even 'The Simpsons' Is Making Fun Of The God-Awful 76ers

Just about everyone is joking on Philadelphia.

At 5-37, Philadelphia 76ers are an absolute mess of a franchise and a punchline inside and outside of NBA circles. They are, in short, a complete joke.

As such, "The Simpsons" writers decided to get in on the fun on Sunday, taking a very quick jab at the very awful franchise.

When Superintendent Chalmers complains about the exorbitant price of a tube of sunblock, store clerk Apu gives him another option.

"I do have a Philadelphia 76ers hat that you could wear for free," Apu tells him. In horror, Chalmers immediately responds, "I'LL PAY! I'LL PAY!"

Seems like Chalmers is not a big fan of "trusting the process," either.
