
Pistachios may be small, but they hold their own in the culinary world. Once you figure out how to crack them (and we all have our own ways of doing that), you're rewarded with a powerful green nut that's strangely addictive. Just like with Pringles, once you pop, you can't stop.
But pistachios are good for more than just snacking, they're great for cooking (and baking!) with too. Yes, pistachio recipes are amazing -- maybe even better than plain pistachios, maybe. If it were't for pistachios, baklava would be seriously lacking. Pistachios make cakes, eclairs and ice cream better too.
