Robin Thicke is slated to take part in a Twitter Q&A session with fans on Tuesday afternoon, but it's not looking too good for him so far. Sponsored by VH1, the Q&A launched the hashtag #AskThicke to elicit questions. It's currently a nationally trending topic, and very few of the responses pose actual queries not laced with criticisms of misogyny, rape advocacy and questionable musical abilities -- all tied to the continued controversy surrounding last summer's "Blurred Lines" lyrics, Thicke's recent split with Paula Patton and his subsequent efforts to win her back.
It can't be a good day for Thicke's press camp. HuffPost Entertainment contacted the singer's publicist to see if he'll still partake in the Q&A session given its pointed content thus far. We'll update this post if we hear back. In the meantime, if you're looking for a case study in what happens when a celebrity's audience turns sour, here are some of the most critical things attached to #AskThicke:

#AskThicke If a train leave the station travelling at 60km/h at 9am, how tight will I have to tie the ropes securing you to the track?
