The Most Pet-Friendly Colleges

The Most Pet-Friendly Colleges
|

Want to take your pet with you to college, but fear this might be a problem? At some schools, pets are not only allowed, but welcomed.

Petside.com recently made a list of the most pet-friendly colleges. Florida's Eckerd College came in first place, with Missouri's Stephen's College coming in second.

Petside.com has more on their methodology:

Petside.com based its 2011 Top 10 Pet-Friendly College list on criteria that includes the range and types of animals that a college allows, the number of pets a student is allowed to bring, the college location & the environment that a school provides to pets, and the number of pet-friendly dorms and buildings on campus. With schools that had similarly flexible pet policies, Petside.com gave a higher rank to schools that promote bringing your pet, have special pet programs or have a better location than others.
