Professor Tihomir Petrov, charged with urinating on a colleague's door, is now a wanted man after skipping a pretrial hearing.

A judge issued a $35,000 bench warrant for his arrest today, reports the LA Times. Petrov's lawyer says that he has not been in contact with his client as of late.

Last December, a hidden security camera caught Petrov urinating on a colleague's door in the math department. KTLA reports that the school had installed the cameras after finding urine at the office on previous occasions. Petrov and his colleague were having a dispute, and he was officially charged with two misdemeanor counts of urinating in a public place. The security footage has not been released to the media.

A call to the university confirms that Professor Petrov was placed on leave immediately after the incident. This past April, the university informed him that he would be dismissed. Petrov chose not to appeal the decision, and his employment was terminated on April 28.
