These Photos Prove That Yosemite Has Always Been Beautiful

It's not our oldest national park -- that title belongs to Yellowstone -- but it sure is pretty.

Yosemite National Park, which was first protected in 1864, is one gorgeous spot for waterfall-spotting, hiking through crazy tall sequoias and taking in breathtaking vistas in and around its 1,200 square miles.

To mark the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's signing of the Yosemite Grant Act, the Park has released beautiful vintage shots of California's first state park
