Ana Villafañe

Ana Villafañe is currently making her Broadway debut as Gloria Estefan in the hit musical On Your Feet!, a new musical at the Marquis Theatre which opened to rave reviews. Deadline declared, “A star is born with On Your Feet!” Ana received Astaire, Drama League and Outer Critics Circle nominations for her performance, and was the recipient of a highly coveted 2016 Theatre World Award for “Outstanding Broadway Debut Performance”. Ana will soon be seen as, Sofia Martinez in Max Steel premiering Friday, October 14th. She also starred in the Hulu original series South Beach which premiered last summer. Villafañe is a triple threat; her career in film and television began when she was spotted onstage at the age of 16, which led to modeling and commercial acting upon graduation from high school. Her first foray into film was in the award-winning feature film Magic City Memoirs, executive produced by Andy Garcia. Upon her move to Los Angeles, she quickly landed a role alongside Esai Morales and Lupe Ontiveros in Los Americans, an original series written and directed by Dennis Leoni and produced by Robert Townsend. Villafañe is also known for her starring turn in Anchor Bay’s 2012 release Hiding, playing a protected witness who is caught in a love triangle with Jeremy Sumpter (Friday Night Lights, Peter Pan) and Tyler Blackburn (Ravenswood, Pretty Little Liars).
