Melissa is a student at Pace University working toward a degree in both English Literature and Communication Studies. The epitome of a true New Yorker, she was born and raised in the borough of Queens. Now, working as freelance journalist and an editor at her school’s writing center, she plans to shift into the field of broadcast news. Her previous internships include editorial work at the daily children’s newspaper News-o-Matic. In her spare time, Melissa loves to travel. She is a football and animal enthusiast.
