Ron Pickarski, (formerly CEC and Brother Ron) is founder, president, culinologist/Executive Chef of Eco-Cuisine, Inc. He is the first vegan vegetarian chef to be certified as an Executive Chef by the American Culinary Federation. He has 50 years’ experience in professional kitchens ranging from fine dining to QSR. Chef Ron is a 40+ year vegan chef starting in 1976. As a Food Technologist/Culinologist, his specialty is research and development of natural, vegan food service products (savory and pastry) designed for chefs to cook with and build into their menus to service healthy diners embracing vegetarian cuisine. Eco-Cuisine, Inc., the first vegetarian/vegan food service company in the US. chef Ron is the first vegan chef to compete in the International Culinary Olympics starting in 1980 with final competition in 1996 as a vegan winning seven medals (Gold, Silver, and Bronze). He was chosen by the United Nations as their North American Chef for the UN's 2016 International Year of the Pulse to represent North America.
