As we remember Nelson Mandela, the man, it is also important to remember him for the great teacher he was.

For me, one of greatest quotes to grace this World was this one:

"I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter; I have made mistakes along the way. But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds there are many more hills to climb.

I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come.

But I can rest for only a moment, for with freedom comes responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk is not yet ended."

Life indeed is a journey, and it is so important to recognize it for just that and to stop and enjoy the magnificent view every now and again. After all, the World is a marvel in itself. What great joy we can glean from it when we actually stop to appreciate it and its wonders.

What a great man!

What a great teacher!

Share this quote & keep his spirit alive. For this can be the greatest gift we can each give humankind.

Enjoy & stay inspired -- always!
