Bill Gates Invests $35 Million In Nuclear Reactor

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Microsoft Corp. Chairman Bill Gates has contributed to an additional $35 million investment round for TerraPower LLC, a company developing a new type of nuclear reactor.

Bellevue, Wash.-based TerraPower said in a statement Wednesday that in addition to Gates, other prior investors contributing to the new funding round include former Microsoft executive Nathan Myhrvold.
