Fox News' Charles Krauthammer: Bill Clinton's DNC Speech Was 'A Giant Swing And A Miss' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Fox News Pundit Disagrees With Everyone On Clinton Speech

Fox News' contributor Charles Krauthammer strayed from the general consensus, and panned Bill Clinton's speech at the Democratic national convention on Wednesday night.

Clinton gave the last speech of the evening, and promised voters that the economy will turn around if President Obama gets a second term. His address received accolades from pundits. CNN contributor Alex Castellanos even called it "the moment that probably re-elected" Obama.

Over at Fox News, Brit Hume and Chris Wallace also praised Clinton's speech. Krauthammer, however, couldn't disagree more. He immediately labeled Clinton's speech "a giant swing and a miss." He continued, “I think he struck out on this... I don’t think it would move the needle whatsoever.”

Krauthammer acknowledged that the speech was "humorous" and "engaging," but blasted it as "sprawling, undisciplined and truly self-indulgent." He argued that Clinton occasionally mentioned Obama, to say that the president shares his views.

“This is one of the strangest nomination speeches ever given,” he said. “It was kind of an amalgam between a State of the Union address and ... what sounded to me like a campaign speech for a third Clinton term.”
