Dan Rather: Donald Trump Has Now Become 'The Hunted'

"From this day forward, he no longer has control."

Veteran journalist Dan Rather dissected Wednesday what the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate the Trump campaign’s alleged Russia ties really means.

And it’s a positive development, according to the former CBS News anchor.

“Today’s events with the appointment of this special counsel gives a resounding answer we’re still, this is one of the things that unites us, we’re still a nation of laws, not of men,” he told MSNBC host Rachel Maddow.

“Up until today, President Donald Trump has had the ability to control almost every news cycle,” Rather added. “From this day forward, he no longer has control. And instead of, if you will, being the hunter, he becomes the hunted.”
