Sex columnist Dan Savage joined HuffPost Live Thursday to talk politics, gay marriage, and his new book "American Savage." He also told host Josh Zepps the story of how he coined the term "Santorum" -- the sexual byproduct, not the politician.

"He said something vile about us," said Savage about Rick Santorum, "let's say something vile about him." Savage noted that his definition of Santorum has been on Google's first page of search results for "Santorum" for a decade.

Zepps asked if Rick Santorum's "Google Problem" was a source of pride for Savage. The columnist replied, "absolutely."
