Denver Red Light Cameras Face Review, Expected To Increase

Red-light cameras at four intersections in Denver have been coming down over the past two weeks, but drivers planning to hit the gas when they see yellow turning to red should take caution.

The cameras are going right back up under the control of a new contractor. And the city hopes to eventually install cameras at as many as 20 other intersections, although those plans are on hold because of funding issues, said police spokesman Sonny Jackson.
