A woman walks into an LA tattoo shop and says, "I want you to tattoo 'DRAKE' across my forehead."

That is how it all began... The Girl With The Drake Tattoo.

Kevin Campbell of Will Rise Tattoos sat down with Kara-Lis Coverdale at VICE to give the scoop on the now infamous forehead proclamation of love for Drake.

She was really psyched about it. She had the sh*tty font all picked out on her iPhone ready to go and was pretty adamant about putting it on her forehead -- She acted as if she had planned it out for a while, but I'm not really sure how much extended coherent thought could actually go into getting such a stupid tattoo on your forehead.

Campbell revealed that he also had no idea who the Canadian-born entertainer was. "I figured it was her hood or some sh*t, not some goofnugget R&B dude."

Since the inking, Campbell has started to get some negative feedback from fellow tattoo artists, along with feeling mixed about it himself. "It's not something I'd want to write home to mom about, if you know what I mean."

The Twitter-sphere has really picked up on this -- primarily because at first, no one thought it was real. @Commenturry wrote, "wow. the tattoo was real." and @yourstrulysf exclaimed, "SHE LIVES!!! @thefader just spotted #thegirlwiththedraketattoo Photo evidence forthcoming."

No word yet from Drake himself.
