Congratulations are in order for Evan Rachel Wood and her bandmate Zach Villa ― the couple is officially engaged! A rep for Wood confirmed the news to Us Weekly exclusively.
Speculation surrounding the couple’s possible engagement began over the weekend when they arrived to the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards wearing silver bands on their ring fingers.
Wood and Villa first met in 2015, after performing at a John Hughes–themed cabaret, according to Us Weekly. That same year, they formed their band Rebel and a Basketcase, fittingly named after two characters in Hughes’ “The Breakfast Club.”
The two first sparked dating rumors back in December when they were spotted holding hands and kissing at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
Wood was previously married to actor Jamie Bell, with whom she has a 3-year-old son. The couple split in May 2014 after almost two years of marriage. Prior to her relationship with Bell, Wood dated Marilyn Manson. The “Thirteen” star and the “Beautiful People” singer got engaged in 2010 after dating for about four years, but they called it off within the same year.
