Stylish Chicagoans took hold of Michigan Ave. Thursday evening for Fashion's Night Out, the grand finale of the Magnificent Mile Shopping Festival.

Up and down the Magnificent Mile, stores featured fall fashion previews and special sales to attract the many well-dressed shoppers from Bloomingdale's to Neiman Marcus.

I stopped by the 900 North Michigan Shops to catch a fall runway show hosted by Heroes actress and model Ali Larter and curated by local stylist, Eric Himel. The pieces featured a somber color palette heavy in burgundy, black, and grey. Rich in textured leather and fur accents, the collection sought to showcase good versus evil for F/W 2012.

I followed the fashionable people down Michigan Ave and hit up Good Nigh Chi, a party at Square One to celebrate all the good things in our wonderful city. Hosted by innovative Chicago startups The Numbered Days, Gogobot, and Glappit, this event focused on bringing young professionals together to build a community through discussion and photographs to share the "Chicago good."
