Winter sports took a turn for the scintillating in Germany, where a group of daring locals stripped down to their skivvies before taking to sleds for a "topless" toboggan run, the BBC is reporting.
All competitors, including a 70-year-old man in long johns, were allowed only underpants and shoes, along with hand and head gear, as they slid down the mountain. The saucy sporting event reportedly drew over 14,000 spectators, most of them warmly-dressed.
"It was tough when I did it, but now, it's pure adrenalin," said one bare-chested participant. The champion took home 1,000 euros.
