Greta Grossman, well-known for her work in industrial design, architecture, and interior design throughout the 1940s, designed this home in 1948. After garnering attention from the Hollywood elite with her modern furniture designs, Grossman went on to design this and 13 other modern homes around Los Angeles. This three bedroom, three bathroom house has since been remodeled and expanded by designer Darryl Wilson architect Tony Unruh to give Grossman's original design an updated, contemporary feel. The roughly 3,000 square foot home mixes indoor/outdoor living space and features walls of glass that allow visitors to enjoy both city and ocean views. Outside, the property boasts a pool, spa, and outdoor kitchen. The designers embellished the sleek design of the house itself by using finishes like African mahogany, stone, and bronze throughout.
