Americans will spend between $2.1 billion and $2.6 billion on candy this Halloween. But what's the best kind of buy if you're passing it out to trick-or-treaters and party guests?
Well, perhaps it all boils down to geographical preferences. Influenster, an online platform to for product reviews, surveyed more than 40,000 people across the nation to find out the top Halloween candy across the nation and in each state.
Turns out that the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup is America's favorite Halloween candy, earning the highest number of votes nationwide. Other favorites? Kit Kat and Butterfinger are popular in all 50 states and Washington D.C., so keep those treats in mind when you're preparing your Halloween shopping list.
