The NYPD is searching for a dump truck driver implicated in a Thursday morning hit-and-run in Union Square that killed a 21-year-old woman.

The unidentified woman was crossing Broadway, east along 14th Street at around 1:30AM when the truck turned the corner and hit her.

"He didn't see her. It was a big truck, a dump truck," William Cayame, 22, told The Daily News. "The light was for her. She had the walk sign."

The woman was rushed to Beth Israel Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made. Police are looking at surveillance footage from nearby businesses.
