John Mellencamp Live Concert In Chicago: WIN Tickets

WIN Tickets To See John Mellencamp In Chicago
|

On November 26 and 27, John Mellencamp will wrap up his tour with two shows at the Chicago Theater -- and you could win two tickets to see him perform live.

Mellencamp, whose new album No Better Than This drops next week, will swing through the Midwest on his own following a tour with Bob Dylan. His new record has been praised by critics, with Greg Kot of the Chicago Tribune writing, "whatever you think of Mellencamp, this is the kind of record that will compel a re-evaluation."

Mellencamp is slated to play the crowd-pleasers ("Pink Houses" and "Paper In Fire") along with tunes from his "stripped down" new album produced by T Bone Burnett, which draws on blues, folk, gospel and rockabilly.

Aside from two Chicago dates, Mellencamp will play in Bloomington, Ind. (10/29); Indianapolis (11/8; 11/11); South Bend, Ind. (11/13); Fort Wayne, Ind. (11/16), Cincinnati, Ohio (11/1); Cleveland, Ohio (11/17); Kansas City, Mo. (11/5); St. Louis, Mo. (11/6); Nashville, Tenn. (11/3); Detroit, Mich. (11/19); Minneapolis, Minn. (11/22; 11/23); and Pittsburgh, Pa. (11/20)

The folks at AEG Live are giving away two tickets to each of those shows--and you have until October 1 to enter. Want to win?

Are you kidding? I still have my vinyl records!I grew up with John "Cougar" Mellencamp here in the mid-west. He's a home-town hero in Michigan! (even if he didn't grow up here...he's small-town just like us!)
